Become a Fractional-CTO
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a cohesive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals.
Provide leadership and direction to our technology teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in software development and technology to drive innovation.
Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute technology initiatives.
Oversee technology budgets and timeframes.
Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
Mentor and develop a high-performing technology team.
Provide insightful, strategic input and direction on decision-making issues affecting the organization (e.g., evaluation of potential alliances, product development, etc.).
Effectively communicate technology strategies and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in technology leadership roles.
Must have held a CTO title in a startup (not personally owned) or in a company that scaled to over $1MM in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Up-to-date knowledge of software development practices and advancements.
Proven experience working directly with executive teams, with a strong ability to communicate complex technology concepts and strategies in a clear and effective manner.
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
